We caught up with Belen to discuss all things videography, from inspiration to advice for newcomers.

How did you get started in videography?

MB: I think my love for motion pictures started as a little girl, I was obsessed with filming and photographing almost everything around me. Shapes, colors, movement... everything was worthy of being shot (and it was not that easy since digital reflex cameras didn't exist yet). Many years later, here I am, having turned this love, this passion, into my work... my life. So I feel very grateful for this.

What inspires you when creating video/motion packs?

MB: Inspiration varies from time to time. The things that inspired me 10 years ago are not the same things that inspire me now. I think anyone can relate to this. In relation to Packsia's video packs, today I'm inspired by composing and capturing life's micro-moments... and trying to make them the most aesthetically pleasing as possible. I also dive into some otherworldly imaginary, it is a topic I'm exploring from time to time. But what I find most challenging right now is going to Packsia's inspirational Pinterest and trying to re-create some of the aesthetics that they are looking for. Most of it is completely out of my comfort zone, which I find entertaining, challenging and just a lot of fun to do.

How would you describe your aesthetic/style?

MB: I'm not sure I have a defined style yet for this Packsia's video pack world. I'm still exploring and trying new things all the time.

Packsia: What advice would you give to future Creators with Packsia?

MB: 1: Always have your camera with you, life itself is the best inspiration you will find. 2: Every marketplace is very different. Especially Packsia: "Aesthetic vertical videos". It is a very specific marketplace. Get inspired by Packsia's Pinterest, they know what they need on their marketplace. 3: Don't get discouraged when a pack is rejected, keep trying till you make it. It is worth it.

Thank you, Belen! We appreciate you endlessly and can’t wait to see what creative content you come up with next.
