During the month of June,
millions of people around the world don rainbow flags and celebrate at their local parade — and we absolutely love to see it. Like many others, we believe that Pride month should not only be a colorful event full of love and dancing, but an opportunity to shine a light on the queer stories and talents around the world.
As a creative, I can’t even begin to say how much the queer community inspires me — not only because of their impeccable taste and style when it comes to design and aesthetic, but because of the resilience the demonstrate on a daily basis to live authentically. So, to all of our queer friends and family, thank you for all that you do.
In honor of Pride month, we wanted to showcase some of our favorite queer creatives on the blog. From videographers to web designers, these are just a sample of the immense queer talent out there. So, without further ado, here they are!
EVERETT WILLIAMS (VIDEOGRAPHER)
Everett’s work takes our breath away. Everett has done creative content for the likes of brands like Gucci, Tom Ford, and McQueen and the vibes are always immaculate. Check out some of their videos and you’ll know what we’re talking about. High-key inspiring!
CARL OSBERG (PHOTOGRAPHER)
Carl Osberg is a photographer and florist who has shot for brands like Boy Smells and Bella Hadid’s brand, Kin Euphorics. We are constantly awestruck by their ethereal work and we know you will be, too.
NICHOLAS SCARPINATO (ARTIST)
Nicholas is an Artist and Photographer based in LA who has worked with brands like Apple Music, Hennessy, Perrier, and many more. The creativity and aesthetic behind his work is so our vibe and we just can’t get enough. #obsessed
OK MICAH (WEB DESIGNER)
When it comes to web developers and brand designers, OK Micah is one of the best in the biz. Not only are they a lovely and unabashedly authentic individual, their talents are exceptional. Fun fact: Micah is the talent behind our beautiful website!
SAVANA OGBURN (ARTIST)
Savana Ogburn is a photographer, collage artist, animator, and set designer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Humor, queerness, and pop culture are all at the centre of Savana's work through a theatrical and textural lens and TBH, it's a recipe for content gold. *chefs kiss*
Though Pride month may be coming to an end, we believe that the LGBTQ2S+ community should be celebrated and supported year round. If you have the opportunity, book these incredible artists and work with them on an upcoming project — trust me, you will be so happy you did. Who are some of your favorite queer artists? We are always looking to connect with more people in the creative community.
